In the land of Jerusalem a family set to roam
Lehi had a vision a call to leave their home
Nephi always faithful followed his father's plea
But Laman and Lemuel oh they struggled to believe
Oh Laman and Lemuel hearts full of doubt
Wandering in the desert trying to figure out
With murmurs and complaints they challenged every plan
Yet through their trials and struggles they remained part of the clan
Through the wilderness they traveled a journey long and hard
Lehi led with visions guided by the Lord
But Laman and Lemuel their faith was often weak
They questioned every hardship the promised land they'd seek

When Nephi built the ship they mocked him with disdain
But faith and divine guidance saw him through the rain
The brothers bound in anger yet Nephi broke the ties
In the midst of storms and trials God heard their cries
In a land of milk and honey their family found a home
But Laman and Lemuel's hearts were often left alone
The lessons in their journey of faith and strength and trust
Show that even in our weakness God's mercy is a must
Oh Laman and Lemuel hearts full of doubt
Wandering in the desert trying to figure out
With murmurs and complaints they challenged every plan
Yet through their trials and struggles they remained part of the clan
So remember Laman Lemuel their journey full of strife
In the Book of Mormon we learn of their life
Though they faltered often their story's still profound
For in our own trials God's love is always found
