Cruising down the road at 100 miles an hour
In the middle of the state looking for a place to play
I spot a light on the left side of the road
And a sign flashing This is the place you're looking for

The roof was full of rust and shattered boards
Looked like a place to party and put on a groove
I flew passed the turn off to go in
Spun around just to try again

Over by the neon sign stood a leprechaun with a pot of gold
Gave me a wink and said come on boy let's give it a go
If you can last till this very midnight alive
You can have this pot of gold if not I own your soul

Well little green man you got a deal
What do I have to do to win this show
All you have to do is dance nonstop till the end
And when the music stops so do we

The double doors in the front begin to open
And the band all dressed in black begin to play
My toes start to wiggle, and my legs take me to the floor
A feeling of power takes over and the blood it does flow

The Leprechaun is move to the spirit of the Band
As his eyes turn into an orange glow
Faster and faster the song gets the better I feel
He touches my arm, and it is numb

I now think it may be too late to get out of here
As he reaches out one more time my I know I'll never leave
Turning to run for the door as fast as I can move
He is right behind with an evil grin

I burst through the door to the outside dive in the car
Out of the parking lot and I am gone
Never look back to see what is there
Heed this lesson I call today

If you're on a lonely road and looking for some fun
And a place just pops up on down the road
Look the other way and speed on by
