The Bare Necessities
by Dr John

[ Featuring The Nite Trippers ]

Look for the bare necessities
The simple bare necessities
Forget about your worries and your strife
I mean the bare necessities
Old Mother Nature's recipes
That brings the bare necessities of life

Wherever I wander, wherever I roam
I couldn't be fonder of my big home
The bees are buzzin' in the tree
To make some honey just for me
When you look under the rocks and plants
And take a glance at the fancy ants
Maybe try a few
The bare necessities of life will come to you

Look for the bare necessities
The simple bare necessities
Forget about your worries and your strife
I mean the bare necessities
That's why a bear can rest at ease
With just the bare necessities of life

So just relax in my backyard
If you act like that bee acts, you're working too hard
Don't spend your time just looking around
For something you want that can't be found
You'll find you can live without it
Go along not thinking 'bout it
I'll tell you something true
The bare necessities of life
The bare necessities of life
Will come to you

Walk and love
Pounce with a roof above
Talking 'bout the bare necessities of life
Wisdom, understandin', sleep
Good health is something you must keep
Forget about your worries and your strife
These are the bare necessities of life

Yeah -
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah -

Trust in Me
by Scarlett Johansson

Trust in me, just in me
Shut your eyes, trust in me
You can sleep safe and sound
Knowing I am around

Slip into silent slumber
Sail on a silver mist
Slowly and surely your senses
Will cease to resist

Just relax, be at rest
Like a bird in a nest
Trust in me, just in me
Shut your eyes and trust in me

Trust in me, just in me
Shut your eyes and trust in me

I Wanna Be Like You (2016)
by Christopher Walken

Now I'm the king of the swingers, oh
The jungle VIP
I've reached the top and had to stop
And that's what botherin' me
I wanna be a man, mancub
And stroll right into town
And be just like the other men
I'm tired of monkeyin' around!

Oh, oobee doo
I wanna be like you
I wanna walk like you, talk like you, too
You'll see it's true someone like me
Can learn to be like someone like you

Now don't try to kid me, mancub
I'll make a deal with you
What I desire is man's red fire
To make my dream come true
Now, give me the secret, mancub
Come on, clue me what to do
Give me the power of man's red flower
So I can be like you

Oh, oobee doo
I wanna be like you
I wanna walk like you, talk like you, too
You'll see it's true someone like me
Can learn to be like someone like you

Now you might think it's ridiculous
That me, a gigantipithicus
Would ever dream I'd like to team
With the likes of you, mancub
But together, we'd have powers
All the jungle's treasures, ours
I got desire, you got the fire
But the dream I dream takes two

So, ooh, I wanna be like you
I wanna use that flame just the same you can do
Oh, how magnificus it would be
A gigantipithicus like me
Could learn to do like you humans do
Can learn to be like someone like you
Can learn to be like someone like me

The Bare Necessities
by Bill Murray

[ Featuring Kermit Ruffins ]

Look for the bare necessities
The simple bare necessities
Forget about your worries and your strife
I mean the bare necessities
Old Mother Nature's recipes
That brings the bare necessities of life

Wherever I wander, wherever I roam
I couldn't be fonder of my big home
The bees are buzzin' in the trees
To make some honey just for me
When you look under the rocks and plants
And take a glance at them fancy ants
And then maybe, well, try a few
The bare necessities of life will come to you

Looking for the bare necessities
The simple bare necessities
Forget about your worries and your strife
I mean the bare necessities
That's why a bear can rest at ease
With just the bare necessities of life

Wherever I wander, wherever I roam
I couldn't be fonder of my big home
The bees are buzzin' in the trees
Make some honey just for me
You look under the rocks and plants
And take a glance, fancy ants
Maybe try yourself a few
The bare necessities of life will come to you

Looking for the bare necessities
The simple bare necessities
Forget about your worries and your strife
I mean the bare necessities
That's why a bear can rest at ease
With just the bare necessities of life

Wherever I wander, whenever I roam
I couldn't be fonder of my big home
The bees are buzzin' in the trees
To make some honey just for me
When you look under the rocks and plants
And take a glance at the fancy ants
And maybe try a few, haha, try one
The bare necessities of life
They'll come to you
They have come to you
The bare necessities of life

The Jungle Book (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is the soundtrack album to the 2016 Disney film The Jungle Book, which is a live-action animated adaptation of the 1967 animated film The Jungle Book. Directed by Jon Favreau, the film features musical score composed and conducted by his frequent collaborator John Debney, mostly drawing from George Bruns' original music.

Few of the tracks were incorporated from the 1967 film's soundtrack written by Sherman Brothers and Terry Gilkyson. The score was recorded at Los Angeles, California and New Orleans, with prominent players and large orchestral members recording the score. Walt Disney Records released the film's soundtrack on April 15, 2016.

It received positive reviews for the musical score, as well as incorporated songs from the 1967 film, being well received. John Debney missed the nomination for Academy Award for Best Original Score, though at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards, he won Best Original Score - Sci-Fi/Fantasy Film as well as receiving a Satellite Award for Best Original Score nomination.
