Tennessee Calls
Should we go left
Should we go right
Or do we drive straight on through the light
Crossing over the bridge
Well, I guess it's alright
Hop 95 on the other side
We're heading south of the border
And maybe it's time to grab a bite
A burger and fries when we order
I'm gonna go grab a big ole Sprite
If Tennessee calls to cross the mountain
We'll have to make a sharp right
Before we leave, I'll hit the soda fountain
I think we're gonna need more for the ride
If Tennessee calls, we'll drive a little faster
Until we see smoke on the mountain side
And then we'll drive slow from there and after
But you know I can't wait to cross the Tennessee line
When Tennessee calls, we'll come a running
Like a dog for a bone
When Tennessee calls, we'll be coming
Because it feels like coming home.. like coming home
So do we go north
Or do we go south
Could we just stay straight
On the same old route
We could drive to Knoxville
Maybe go to the zoo
Drive by the courthouse
For a thing to do
Well, we can head to The Caverns
Bluegrass Underground
And the Grand Ole Opry
And those sweet country sounds
If Tennessee calls, we've got a reason
To change our plans and change our route
Put the windows down and let the breeze in
That Tennessee sun is gonna shine down
When Tennessee calls, we come a running
Like a dog for a bone
When Tennessee calls, we'll be coming
Because it feels like coming home.. like coming Home
We're coming home
We're coming Ho oh oh oo whoa oh oo ome
We're coming Home. We're coming Home
When Tennessee calls to cross the mountain
When Tennessee calls, we come a running
In our Home across the mountain
Where the smoke is on the mountain
We're coming Home across the mountain
Where the smoke is on the mountains
So how about a beer while we're deciding
We might get a call before we start driving
