The river flows
My feet washed clean again
Letting go
Of the weight of what was said
We keep reaching
Wanting to believe
In something greater
Beyond the last reprieve
Open doors
Roads of sun baked dust
Wooden floors
Kissed by time and all who crossed
But those creaky boardwalks
Seem to sing in tune
To something greater
Than this moments bloom
And father time and mother nature will take their course
While the children drink deeply
From whatever well they choose as their source
Here I am
What was felt
Is so much more than what was said
Here I am
Moving forward
While retracing where we've been
What if there's more here
There could be more here
There's something more here
There's so much more here
