Built these walls crystal clear
So you'd think there's nothing to fear
See right through to my bones
Think you know what makes me whole
Fingerprints on the pane
Leaving marks that won't explain
What's growing wild inside
Heat and pressure amplified
Your eyes fixed on my frame
Thinking fragile is my name
But what you fail to see
Is the storm brewing in me
Living in a glasshouse
Transparent but confined
Touch me and I'll shatter
Cut you with what's inside
Sunlight bends through my edges
Creates fire where I stand
This delicate construction
Was never what I planned
Careful how I move here
Every step must persevere
They love to watch me grow
But never want to see me throw
Stones at my own reflection
Breaking free of their perception
The soil beneath is fertile
My roots have grown too versatile
Living in a glasshouse
Transparent but confined
Touch me and I'll shatter
Cut you with what's inside
Sunlight bends through my edges
Creates fire where I stand
This delicate construction
Was never what I planned
Watch as the heat inside distorts the view
What once seemed crystal clear now warps the truth
I'm more than what you see, more than these walls
The pressure's building up until it all
Falls down around our feet in glittering shards
The woman you thought tame has grown too hard
To contain in this fragile exhibition
I'm breaking free of your definition
The fragments on the ground
Reflect a light newly found
Step cautiously around
What I've become unbound
No longer on display
I'll build myself my own way
From broken pieces forged
A woman reimagined, reborn
The glasshouse stands empty now
Just remnants of what couldn't hold
The force of nature growing wild
No longer controlled
