A horde of saviors
Claiming acolytes
Near endless
A false emboldening
Fabricated influences
No more to offer than rehashed filth
Self-importance projected outward
Blissful, they revel in their fiction
Venerated by their own lies
An ego fed, though never nourished
Satiated, but in time it will starve
The sycophantic drones
Too blind to see the ruse
Enraptured by disinformation
Why beg for truth and be refused?
They can only see the truth
Driving them insane
A base of rust cannot sustain an empire
For more than a few passing moments
The monuments will ultimately crumble
When their illusion is finally revealed
But undaunted, they remain in their towers
Holding court over an imagined kingdom
Convinced reality will imitate the myth
Doomed to rule over nothing
False idols, burn to ash, float to the clouds
False idols, fall like rain, from the sky into our brains
The artificial legions, begin to fade away
But the lie has taken hold
Enthralling the false idols both old and new and forgotten ones
A horde of saviors
Claiming acolytes
Near endless
A false emboldening
Slowly believing their own deceptions
Bewitched by the delusions
But penance will be paid, when they are soon forgotten
Why beg for truth and be refused?
But penance will be paid, when they are soon forgotten
Why beg for truth and be refused?
Why beg for truth and be refused?
Why beg for truth and be refused?
Why beg for truth and be refused?
