I feel deeply everything I feel
A being that not all reveals
The waves on top are large enough
To drive fair-weather sailors off
But they're still tiny in comparison
To what I hold back underneath them
And fathomable is the perfect word
For all I feel and is never heard
An iceberg floating massively
And yet hides more mass passively
My depths hide more than water forms
Ice and waves and tropic storms
There's life and memory thriving deep
Creatures born as my thoughts breed
I hold no concept of human hatred
All within me I hold as sacred
The moon may loosely hold me bound
But other forces let my strength pound
Earth and air and heat and cool
Water can balance nature too
Humans are new and only mortal
The seas are virtually eternal
I am the ocean, vast and strange
All must respect my tidal range
