Where they used to be
Grief can definitely come in waves
Sometimes it's overwhelming
Like a heavy weight on your chest
And other times it's much more quieter
Like a lingering sadness that colors
Everything with a deep sense of loss
We would give anything for just
One more hug, one more moment together
As we begin our meditation and move into connection
You might find yourself replaying memories
Feeling both comforted and pained by them
These feelings and all the ones in between
Are welcomed here

Their comforting presence
