I've been wondering a while
Who is this child that they surround
Some people smile while others frown
I've heard a lot of wild
Ancient scriptures/files
That claim He is the Crown
That created every ounce
Turned vibrations into sound
Hesitation with denial
'Cause this is so profound
God Almighty measured by the pound
Im down to stick around
I'll say my questions loud
My knees gonna hit the ground and Ima say
What child is this
Who laid to rest
This is Christ the King
Whom shepherds watch and Angels sing
Oh my, did a ruler put a hit on
A helpless little baby that don't even a crib or a bib on
Out of fear that he might lose career
When he got word that the Son of God appeared
Claimed that he revered
Wit a fake smile like veneers
Fast forward He survived His peers
And He's in the synagogue without sin in His soul
All alone, twelve years old
With the teachers and scrolls
And as the story goes
The story unfolds
This child inside the manger delivered our only hope
Gonna heal, gonna sacrifice His own flesh.
Resurrect to show us in Him theres no death
Rewind back to the beginning
God made Man, Man started sinning
God became man, lived sinless
Man killed God, God killed death
It is finished
And because of this same story we're forgiven
What child is this
Who laid to rest
This is Christ the King
Whom shepherds watch and Angels sing
