Sometimes I think what if we could change places
What if we could feel how it feels to be gracious?
Live a life of another to just meet other faces
Witness cultures live in different places
Share with them wheat and live like they live
Give to them sweets and plant with them trees
Or maybe watch the moon shine on to the sea
Or maybe feel the heat right after the breeze
There's a lot to this world but we stuck in our woes
It's time to expose everything that we taught
So we learn when we learn to respect our globe
No division but revision learn about society
So we learn when we pray to the one deity
We the children of the world we living sharing space
Yes its darkness that they chase but its peace we embrace
Yes we all the same disregarding colour race
Sometimes, sometimes I be thinking
What if we were to change places, our features our faces
Sometimes, sometimes I be thinking
What if we were to change places, our cultures our races
Sometime I think what if we could change places
What if we could feel how it feels to be gracious
Sometimessometimes I'll be thinking
Thinking deep is the mother ship sinking
Humanity sitting on the brink of collapsing
Evil axis, mankind lapsing
Slipping into ignorance with heart but diseased
A new generation in grief, displeased
In search of a life, a life with meaning
As the ocean turns into rivers intervening
So what if, what if we could change our state
Wash all the hate away and heal the pain
Suppress the ego and give more love away
Erase apartheid, behold, a new day
To cherish each others cultures and races
All four corners of the globe to state this
For justice to rise and peace to ensure
Arrival of the day is a promise for sure
Sometimes, sometimes I be thinking
What if we were to change places, our features our faces
Sometimes, sometimes I be thinking
What if we were to change places, our cultures our races
Sometimes, sometimes I be thinking
What if we were to change places, our features our faces
Sometimes, sometimes I be thinking
What if we were to change places, our cultures our races
