November nights
December mourning
The Northern Lights
They just don't shine bright anymore
But we can pretend and we can like we don't miss it much
The air was thick
With the smell of smoke and ash and beer
It made me sick
But that's exactly why I stayed
I need someone to make me leave this place that I call home
The morning tides
The waves are forming
The passerby's
They just don't come here anymore
But we can pretend that they're still here and we are not alone
The biggest size
Of any storm in
A thousand lives
And it's too late to leave from here
I need someone to make me leave this place that I call home
