We went to a party in the San Fernando Valley
It was a Monday Night everything seemed to be going alright
Then it got late
They told us we could stay
The party was still going on but we decided to go home anyway
At about 4 am I dropped my friends off

I started driving home

You could see everything was all f*cked up
From Simi Valley to Hollywood
Santa Monica to Brentwood
Lots of houses hit the ground
A piece of the Golden State came down
Sixty people lost their lives I'm lucky that I survived
While I was driving I saw people ducking and diving

Then the Northridge Mall came down
People were running all around
