I'm late for the big day
I look at the clock
But the calendar's broken
And my date's on her way
So I spray my face with bologna
And I eat a sandwich made of cologna
I brush my teeth with garlic bread
And I eat the toothpaste instead
I go to take a quick nap
Only to find someone stole my couch
So far so good I hope this is how it stays
Time's winding up
Pretty soon she's gonna be here
So I frantically wash my tux
And I put on my face
Just to freshen up
I spray on some mace
I volunteered to bring cheese and crackers
So I gel up my crackers
And I cheese up my cornrows
Now I'm going to wait outside
I lock the door with my wallet
And I check my keys for cash
Everything is good to go
I await her extravagant limo
But all that arrives is a rolling lemon
I get inside to find
I'm allergic to lemon juice
And I break out in hives
My date's eating sweatpants
And wearing animal crackers
And that's the moment I know
My cornrows are cheesed up nicely
I can tell by the smile in her eyes
And the twinkle on her lips
And the lemon mobile rolls away
Into the nightly sunset
And the night dances us away
