Oh spacious sky
Here I lay
I see you hovering high
I feel you governing life
I feel your indifferent presence in the day
Oh spacious sky
You're sitting there
With your colors so bright
And your feathery might
It's impossible to feel despair and grief
From the blood in my head
So filled with pointless dread
Oh how I've missed your sweet, gentle breeze!
Oh wondrous sky
Why do I care?
I've seen that life moves so fast
Under a universe so vast
But it's become hard to stop and stare
As I stand up there's a tingling in my brain
Wandering 'round I feel like I might go insane
Oh great blue sky won't you lift up my shoulders?
Instead I see clouds and start to feel colder
As I stare blankly they laugh and then start to rain
