Alright y'all
Gather round the campfire cuz I'mma tell a tale
A story bout a boy who was young his name was harold
A good person lead down the path of destruction
Taught to take the people who stopped him to hells dungeons
One rainy day it was may or maybe June
Northern Alabama living with his aunt sue
Sittin on a fence post he looked all alone
I told the lil man to come with me I'll get him dome
Chilled for an hour till we both got tired
Called up the homie asking if he had a lighter
Smoked at his pad till 8 or 9
Convinced the young man to live a life of crime
Hustling dope through the streets sell to anyone who'd buy
Okay well one day we sold to a real shady guy
He was the type of man always looking for a high
Told us to follow him when Harold asked him why
The man pulled out a 45 and put it to his head
Told us all to follow or I'll pump him full of lead
We followed suit, cuz we don't want to see our friend Harold dead
Led us to an alley where he beat us till we bled
Turns out the man was in our rival gang
And that we were selling dope in a place they Like to hang
He tells us to keep out or some bad things will happen
As he sent us on our way and we thought we heard some clappin
We turn around and see like twenty guys with guns
And our whole entire gang starts to turn around and run
We barely made it but young johnny met a different fate
The hole in his chest was the size of a dinner plate
Through the hole is a man standing with a pump shotgun
Smiles ear to ear as he turns and says he got one
So we ran
Got outta there as fast as we can
Then we split ways to get back to our van
We chose to lay low until the time came
That was when I got the news that Harold was hanged
My man was walking home and he came around a corner
And what he saw there made him vomit and shudder and it was HAROLD
Neck tied up to a fence post
Legs spread wide because he had a broken hip bone
That was years ago now I'm a changed man
I'm religious and I'm living according to God's plan
I got home turned on the TV, ready for bed
There was a mass shooting resulting in 200 dead
And the witness must have lied cause this is what she said
And that is when i knew that it was Harold
