Why so many pillows? Why so many pillows?
I have got no use for them in my hotel bed, I have only got one neck
(They're just cloth sacks full of feathers. Think about it)

Arrived at the hotel, was greeted by the clerk
I'm on a business trip because I travel when I work
I didn't ask for much, I'd had a busy day
And all I needs a place to rest my head when I'm away
So, after checking in, I headed to my room
Everything was normal, just as you would presume
But when I opened up the door, I found something odd
There's far too many pillows in my chosen Travelodge

Well, maybe it is me. But I do not agree
The quantity of pillows, please stop giving them to me
Because six of them were square, and four of them were round
And two of them were cylinders, I do not understand
Normally this would, not aggravate me much
But recently the frequency has started going up
So, whether staying at The Ritz, or a night at an Ibis
Reception fails to mention that it starts to take the piss

Everywhere I stay these days it seems to be the same
Every day I clear the bed, yet one pillow remains
I move them to the floor, try to get some sleep
I'm falling in the morning when they get under my feet
So I thought that I was try to realise
The multitude of pillows that the hotel does provide
But when I finally reclined, my back got misaligned
The curveuture, the furniture was causing to my spine
