Not a second I don't reflect upon that life with ire
Not an inkling or a minute sense of what I'd leave behind
But it's ours to do with it what we please
And I fear I wasted mine lackadaisically
Weak from trying to continue to grip it tight am I
Here tonight though
Come tomorrow it will go
Here tonight though
Gone tomorrow is this glow
Gravitating like a moth into the light but why
Does an aery vapor hold a candle to my own mind
A decadent way of choosing to think
I'm wasting all my time dwelling on memories
Here tonight though
Come tomorrow it will go
Here tonight though
Gone tomorrow is this glow
It's just the present doesn't measure up to what I want
And I wish that I get back to change it all
But I wonder if I'd end up coming back to this thought
