The pilot episode of The Twilight Zone
Is called "Where is Everybody"
And the name sure gives it away
As you can guess, it's about a man
Who wakes up to find that he's all alone
In some creepy town
In fact, the only other people he finds are mannequins
But before that he goes into a restaurant
Yeah, no one's there, you guessed it
He demands some ham and eggs!
He's got American money and he's a customer
But despite a blaring jukebox no one responds

He leaves the restaurant and goes into town
That's where he finds the mannequins
Poor guy thinks it's a girl but it's not
He finds the police station: but there's no one!
He tries to call someone: but there's no one!
He goes into an ice cream parlor: nope, there's no one there!

He makes his way to the movie theater
They're playing some sort of war movie
This is when he realizes he's a pilot
And he has this freak out moment
He runs back into town and totally breaks down

This is when it's revealed that he's part of a government experiment
He's been in an isolation booth
Preparing to send men to the moon
