This womb of mine
Let all the blood within sour into new flesh
Like must to wine
This sultry sky of skin was smeared by sullen hands
Contort your spine
Unsheathe yourself from me and stare sun in the eyes
Come forth and shine
And trade fetters of bone for radiant chains of light
I am the wheel that treads upon itself
And yet I can't stop turning
I am the ember where the anguish dwells
Warm your hands as I'm burning
Plasma spun from fire
Set my breath ablaze
Holding my own cinders
In an ashen haze
My chest - barren temple
Shrine cleared from a maze
Blind as I am shining
Sun withheld from gaze
A blade of separation
Embedded in each birth
A kind hand poised to seize it
Thus cleaving us from dirt
Hold me to your bosom
Save me from the earth
