Mirror
Strange days suburbia
A change beneath my skin
The mirror always told me so
This has got to be a sin
Mamas bleeding
She feels that too
Her babys gone a changing
A woman's heart, a woman's womb
There's not much in complaining
When Daddy gets home
Back from town
Raise his big voice
Bring the house down
Even then I won't look in the mirror
Watch the big boys tumble round
My heart becomes a shiver
If only I could press these legs
Maybe I could stop this river
Rush the water unter me
I've seen so many bridges
Mama help me, your baby girl
Who needs to be a man
When Daddy gets home
Back from town
Raise his big voice
Bring the house down
Even then I won't look in the mirror
