Dreher Bügel - Tumbleweed Lyrics

Dreher Bügel - Tumbleweed Lyrics

Li'l Pete Tumbleweed was forced by a warm desert storm
To explore his way through grains of sand and skulls and bones
And then suddenly he was stopped by a lonesome cactus tree
Hence he lost his way, turned around and missed Bisbee

A mean-eyed rattlesnake made him change his way again
Li'l Pete Tumbleweed was tumbling through the dark
He couldn't see at all and fell into the Colorado
It was cold as ice - "No!" yelled our desperate desperado

He was kissed awake by Sweet Sue Tumbleweed
"She could be my girl" thought enamored Li'l Pete
The love-doped vertigo drove them past Gila Bend
Tumbling hand in hand they got sucked in - it was quicksand

Where are you - I need her - I'm suffering
You'll never read this story in Tombstone Tumbleweed
