Dylan Andre - Hell's Angel, Pt. 1 Lyrics

1958 was a special year
I tell a story of a woman absent of fear
Who did the best for her children in the only way
She knew how living life on the day to day
Not perfect but she's working with the love of God
Helped her raise a whole family with a shitty job
Tending bar dealing with the stress of getting by
Settled into a little house on the east side
A couple years and instability is what she got
Slipped up and made a child in a parking lot
Had no idea what to do but she made it work
She walks around with a scarlet letter on her shirt
That DNA test showed who his daddy was
They didn't know at the time just how bad he was

Hell's angel
It's just the way she goes
F*cking way she goes
Just the way she goes
Hell's angel
It's just the way she goes
F*cking way she goes
Just the way she goes
Hell's angel
It's just the way she goes
F*cking way she goes
Just way she goes

92 born blue into a life of sin
That's a given but the state that we were living in
All alone two brothers and another mom
That's a story that I'll save for another time
Got a morale code like a biker gang
Grew up around em if you ever needed anything
They had your back but the second you step out of line
They'd serve you up and ass whipping of a lifetime
All my mama's close friends were either drunk or high
Was watched over by em when my mom was on the line
Drank cola in the corner of her favorite bars
The counselors thought my bro and I were hiding scars
Of mental images sitting up in the Oldsmobile
Smoke filling to the ceiling from the steering wheel
Everybody used to try to take pity on us
And how our life was so shitty the committee discussed
An inspection of the home to see if we had food
Check if LIHEAP filled our oil tank with crude
We used to use the oven open for a little heat
Had to section off the rooms with a quilt or sheet
Pouring liquor down the drain had to do it though
The huddle near the radiator wearing hats and coats
So here I am apologizing to my mom and bro
At 17 I had to leave man I hit the road
I could see it in your eyes that your spirit broke
But now we reminisce and laugh cause there's really no
Animosity possibly I was silly bro
Just is what it is, f*ckin way she goes
F*ckin way she goes man
