It's Springtime once again here in the country
The flowers, they are blooming everywhere
I can see creation waking, a brand new breath of life we're taking
But most of all, I feel revival in the air
Those old-time Gospel songs get sweeter every year
And there's people on the altar, crying to the Father
As He wipes away their tears
And we'd praise the power down; feel the spirit all around
It's so mighty that it even lifts my hair
Oh, there ain't no doubt about it; I've just got to sing and shout it
Yes, I love to feel revival in the air
The fog lies on the ground 'neath the old brush arbor
As the preacher starts his sermon with loving care
I can hear his voice get higher as he preaches down the fire
Yes, I love to feel revival in the air
Those old-time Gospel songs get sweeter every year
And there's people on the altar, crying to the Father
As He wipes away their tears
And we'd praise the power down; feel the spirit all around
It's so mighty that it even lifts my hair
Oh, there ain't no doubt about it; I've just got to sing and shout it
Yes, I love to feel revival in the air
Let the Hallelujahs ring; I just can't wait until next Spring
Yes, I love to feel revival in the air -- Yes, in the air
It's Springtime once again here in the country
