All the faces slip away
Words fall through endless cracks
Nothing breaks this frozen gaze
But I can still smell the flowers
Static flares in dark cascades
Counting all the days away
Crashing screams at fresh decay
Mixing all forgotten senses
Lenses glare refracted light
Tattered curtains dusty fright
Limp along the winding trail
Forge into the sea set sail
We belong beyond despite
All the word they ever taught us
