Well, I saw the break, in the waves as I felt the rain
In ways it seems we're all the same, after all

When I saw the place, I'd walk and feel the lifted weight
Now I wonder if I should wait, for what's to come

And I wanna know how much we can control
Like to think it's somewhere in between
Some coast through time or strive to win and gain
Either way, I'll still go on the same, still go on the same

As I gaze above, in the sky and all the stars at night
I'll just wait here for the birds to fly, then come again

And while we sit and stare, in the fields I breathe the open air
It's not a matter of where, but when

And I wanna know how much we can control

When the warmer days, come our way
Should we stay the same or change?

And at a slower pace, we avoid the strain
And we could move away, from where the sky, is gray

In the subtle ways, that we show our faith
