Icarus is flying
Daedalus is sighing
Icarus is feeling bold
Daedalus is feeling old
They still are quite happy while learning to fly
Enjoying themselves exploring the sky
As father and son they conquer the world
They sure feel both been thrown and hurled
By the winds
Icarus is rising
Dad is advising
Icarus is bragging
Daedalus is nagging
And suddenly the son's falling down
Into the ocean, he's for sure meant to drown
But for real he's hurt badly but he's still alive
His youth made him strong to survive
Things like that
Icarus is leaving
Daedalus is grieving
Ike needs exploring
Dad is just too boring
So the young man restarts on his own again
So sure that he'd be the first flying man
Cause no risk is no fun and pain can be a spur
The father stays back to incur
All the debts - Of that youth
All that loss - and these risks
He is pissed off - with that swagger
And the brass - to be the nagger
Weebles wobble - but they won't fall down
