Fox on Socks - Ecological Evangelist Lyrics

The galaxy we surf metamorphosed
Into a star nursery, fractured and repose
A regality like the EAC
But an abnormality apparently arose
A verdant Gaia floated in peril
As an energy of disparity caroled
Through the tides of the universe an overwhelming sadness
Like the ominous tune of a broken down carousel
The distress shown in the planet's tattering
A mangled flora fortress crying
A groundskeeper attempting to put her pieces back together
An Ecological Evangelist's natural failure

Friend of the earth, a friend of ours
Please don't burn yourself out
You spend countless sleepless hours
Making sure your labor takes root
That all the creatures may have safety
That all the plants may blossom deeply
That all the air may say clear freely
That all your work is valued and goodly
And I promise that it is truly understood

"I will fight through the blithe
Whether it exhausts my might
This vessel of a body must fight
This duty to preserve is greater than I
To save this world, I'm not afraid to die"

In a parsec, we got there in a hear sec
The terra chex mix almost got us a shipwreck
Fluxing falls, hydro rohypnol
Windshield misty in the downpour
The adrenaline seepin' in, dangerous petrichor
Tempest's sludge and void mixture
Lacuna's ripping the mind and the world
Let's not have this turn into a dirge

An emblazoned thaumaterge emerged
Her courage blinding from brink to beyond
Yet, the pressure and the stress decimates the good to be praised
This condensed space about to blow
And in headspace narrow
It dawned this episode will undo
Any labor and any preservation
We must save if only but a single seed
In order to blossom anew, indeed

No matter what the algae thinks
Or the Naysayer spews and speaks
Trust in yourself, reject the disbelieving
And the flames will never harm our Eden
