Empty Space and Wasted Time

I was living my life, on the edge of a knife
I never thought about, the price I would have to pay,
I was Just living for the moment, never worried about the dues
I Never planned ahead, I just swang away
So many hopes and dreams, gave way to half baked schemes
And empty space was filled with empty dreams
The party was over, back in 2001,
There was nothing left, but still I just kept on
And when I was finally spent, I turned back to find
A hole in my life, and a broken mind
Empty space and wasted time was all that I had to show
So many days I can't remember, spent on a crowd I'll never know
Looking over my shoulder, for the next shoe to drop,
I knew, one way or another, I was going to have to stop
I could've met my fate, in the blink of an eye,
And I knew I'd reach a point, where it was do or die
Empty space and wasted time was all that I had to show
So many days I can't remember, spent on a crowd I'll never know
