Eloise floats
Above evergreens
Effervescent like a dream
Silken wings
Carry her
High above the
Douglas fir
She searches for
A little boy
Who kept her home
From being destroyed
She could sense
His heart of gold
Unlike her
He'd grow old
Eloise the fairy
Of the evergreens
One can only see her
If their heart's pristine
Eloise is the last
Of her fairy kind
And it is that boy
That's always on her mind
He grew tall and thin
And never returned
To visit Eloise's Glynn
He remained the love
Of Eloise's life
A fairy all alone
Fluttering in eternal strife
Eloise the fairy
Of the Evergreens
One can only see her
If their heart's pristine
Owl said let's fly to Dublin
I heard he lives there now
But the clamor of big cities
Filled Eloise with fear
Upon a shooting star
He promised to come back
You see
And in a whiskey jar
He build a house for me
So Eloise now waits
Possibly eternaly
Eloise the fairy
Of the Evergreens
