He was despised, rejected, alone
A man of sorrows, His blood atone
We turned away, we hid our face
Yet He endured, He took our place
By His stripes, we are healed
Through His wounds, Love revealed
The weight of sin upon Him laid
The prince of peace, His life He gave
Like a sheep we've wandered far from the way
Each of us lost, in darkness we stay
Yet the Servant bore the burden of all
Silent He stood, obeying the call
Crushed for our sins, pierced through with pain
The Lamb of God, for us was slain
He bore the judgment, the wrath, the strife
To bring us hope, eternal life
