But he said I will grant you life and help you through this

So how many Christians scores for their proud looks
The problem is they haven't taken time to read this book
I wish they did. They would have been humble and love instead
You see you did nothing for your salvation, nothing at all

It was a free gift God gave you and he gave the offer to all
So you're not better than me because you listen to a sermon
You're not better than that brother over there because you attend church service
If you're truly a Christian and you know who you were before

Are you a desperate sinner
Then you will humble yourself
But you see two or three kids that left the church are part of the problem too
Instead of staying for Jesus quitting is what they do
