It was back in early 40s when I met my dear wife
I knew from here on it was gonna be a good life
Raised two kids, went on their separate ways
One got married to a young man,
And the other one just stayed
The one day on a sunny sky was the fateful day of the crash
All of us, family and my daughters new son, crashed a terrible crash
My wife banged her head pretty hard on the front, and myself, just a minor concussion.
A few months later my wife died of brain damage and things were really never the same
A few months of mourning passed and I met a new lady
She lived in a small cottage near the lake, which is where I moved too
Everyone around town hated her guts
And I, cannot lie, did too
I packed up my bags and flew through the night, leaving no more truth
I soon shut my eyes as I died on the bed, surrounded by my loving family.
I saw a light shine bright as the sun and flew to it, I say goodbye to everyone and die
