The Happy Yew - The Deal Lyrics

Well the devil went down to the sleepy town
He was wearing a suit and a cross upside down
With a Turk in his left hand and watch in the other
And a grin a mile wide that gave people a shudder

He got to the crossroads where he met the poor lass
She had the voice of a wench but she had a nice ass
So Devil spoke out and he said "what's the deal?"
She said she wanted to sing and needed his appeal

So it was hot and heavy at 7:06
The lass has been seduced by his devilish tricks
So they sealed the deal and off the devil walked
He said "I'll see you in hell" as the deal was locked

He gave her a ball and chain and one last wink
And a beautiful voice but also something that stinks
So the devil had gone and left the lass alone
Wax carved on her chest right down to the bone
