Into the night, I see
There's a mother and
A lover's boy lives across me
Dreams and darkness play
To form shadows
Of bustling lights and foreplay
I'm walking down to find myself
Discouraged 'cuz it's a Friday
While home I was
Just ruffling through books
And not scared of being
A sidekick
My mother told me once
That people
Will break or mould
Your palette
An orb escapes
Like lighting dust
To create more havoc
Rains fill, drops spill
Shoes hit, the floor tilts
And all desires are
Foreplay into nothing
Before I go, I refrain
The trees, are not
That afraid
They hear every word
And every breath
A medium, a collection
Of something
Looking at me
With green eyes
