I woke up this morning with sad eyes
There's no one else around
They must have died
With all the all the horses and all the deer
And all the songs I use to hear
But I woke up alive, though I don't breath inside
Summer time is gone and the nights feel way too long
The water wasn't cold but it cut my throat
Tonight there won't be any harm in drinking to stay warm
It's a long way down when I fall around
I was as blue as the ocean yesterday
It hummed me a song then swept me away
Now I'm awake, everyone's asleep
It's just me in the ocean deep
Darkness beats the blood through me
Like the longest night in the slowest dream
Summertime is gone and the nights feel way too long
Isn't there a place where all the good men have gone
Are they horses? Or are they the deer?
Or all the songs I use to hear?
But I don't breath inside but I woke up alive
