When you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites
For they love to stand and pray in the synagogues
And at the street corners, to be seen by others
Truly, I say to you, they have their reward

Pray then like this
Our Father in heaven
Let your name be kept holy
Let your kingdom come
Let your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our bread for tomorrow
And forgive us our debts
As we also have forgiven our debtors
And lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from the evil one
For yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever
Amen

But when you pray, go into your room; shut the door
And then pray to your Father who is in secret
Your Father sees in secret and will reward you
