Eternity
Eternity
Wishing death one day
Without having walked
The strange path of life
That certain angels did tread
Free of hatred, of coldness
For having tasted love and the sweetness
Of intense divine
Moments and lived
In a dreamy tear,
Moved
By her beauty,
Her fear,
Her destiny
Walking in light,
Discovering whiteness
Hope flies away,
Hungry for pleasure and ardour
Disappointed by trivial warmth
Her eyes cannot know
Her lips cannot taste
The exquisite softness of a moment
And strange and delirious instant,
Gone at every moment
Loved, misunderstood,
Her memory wearing gowns of promises
Stretches its last riches and like a goddess
Will open up to death, to stars, to the immensity Outshone by beauty and eternity
