As I strolled in Killarney town, A lovely little pub is what i found
I went inside to have a pint, Oh my lord, what a night
I sat there and I drank my stout, A couple of lads came in and out
They all went into the back room there, where the sound of music filled the air
Whiskey in the Jar made the rafters quake. We all sang along to Finnigan's Wake
I loved the Star of County Down in the Laurels Pub in Killarney town
I went in the backroom and I sat down, Singing right along with the hold ground
Brennan on the Moor and Maggie Mae, we sang and drank the night away
I downed my Guiness, was about to leave. A Killarney girl grabbed me by the sleeve
She said please stay for the parting glass... After that I left with that Irish lass
Whiskey in the Jar made the rafters quake. We all sang along to Finnigan's Wake
I loved the Star of County Down in the Laurels Pub in v town
