Insecticide
Flowing through my veins
It is unusual
But it does the job
It makes me cry
When I stop to think about
All of the bugs I must be killing off
Insecticide
Is pooling right behind my eyes
I wonder if I've finally
Seen the light
It tricks my mind
Into thinking that this kind of thing
Is a good enough way for me to pass the time
Insecticide
Allow me brief reprieve
Whilst you are studying
The movements in this space
Take your time
Listen carefully
To all of the smiles
Pouring out of my face
Insecticide
It's killing off the friends I've made
I'm told that they will not be coming back
So, here I lie
Tangled in the undergrowth
I don't know why
Insecticide
Is flowing through my veins
It is unusual
But it does its best
It makes me cry
When I stop to think about
All of the bugs I must have laid
To rest
