The usual Turkey of 16lb
Is replaced instead with half a crown
It's so different to the years I've known before
House full of friends and family
All gathered around the Christmas tree
But this year my voice will echo through the hall
But that doesn't mean the magic has gone
Just ask the kids when Santa has come
Wrapping paper litters the floor
The pigs are in their blankets all warm
It doesn't mean that everything's lost
Jack will still be covered in frost
And though we've got to keep our distance
It doesn't mean it isn't Christmas
It's just another kind of Christmas
I'll miss the in-laws' warm embrace
And the look of joy on mother's face
As she opens up a gift I knew she'd love
I'll miss those games of Trivial Pursuit
Charades just isn't the same with two
And the Christmas Choir sings songs of praise through Zoom
But that doesn't mean the magic has gone
Just ask the kids when Santa has come
And wrapping paper litters the floor
And the pigs are in their blankets all warm
It doesn't mean that everything's lost
Jack will still be covered in frost
And though we've got to keep our distance
It doesn't mean it isn't Christmas
It's just another kind of Christmas
And I know the distance hurts
And the loneliness is worse
With loved ones gone
It just won't be the same
But that doesn't mean the magic has gone
Just ask the kids when Santa has come
And wrapping paper litters the floor
And the pigs are in their blankets all warm
It doesn't mean that everything's lost
Jack will still be covered in frost
And though we've got to keep our distance
It doesn't mean it isn't Christmas
It's just another kind of Christmas
Just another kind of Christmas
It's just another kind of Christmas
It's just another kind of Christmas
