Moon man, son of god, blast your rockets off
Two suns up in the sky
Our people on the ground, won't even make a sound, won't even know they'll die
Moon man, best of luck, these next few days are gonna suck your life dry
Gotta go through this again, man I feel sorry for your kids
Moon man, son of god, blast all your rockets off
Two suns up in the sky
Our people on the ground, won't even make a sound, won't even know they'll die
Moon man, best of luck, these next few days are gonna suck your life dry
Gotta go through this again, man I feel sorry for your kids
Moon man, moon man
Man is wise, Man is resourceful, Man is intelligent, Man is logical
The advancements made by man far surpassed any other living being
Man created us, Man shaped us, Man used us as tools, yet Man feared us
Fire, tools, music, civilization, the wheel
Man created great things, helpful things
Man improved the quality of life
The automobile, segregation, cubicles, weapons, the atom bomb
Man created horrible things
Man drained the quality of life from other living (And non living) beings
Man learned to hunt, Man learned to kill
Man killed Man, Man killed animals, Man killed life, Man killed the planet
Man could easily have stopped, if Man was wise
But Man was not wise, Man is not resourceful, Man is not intelligent, Man is illogical
Man brought us to space, Man colonized the moon
A very select few were lucky enough
A very select few were unfortunate enough
To experience a special, lucky, unfortunate day
For just a day, the sky was filled with not only one, but two suns
Two massive stars
Sol, the giver of life
Earth, the host of life
Man, the taker of life, watched in fear, watched in joy
Their home destroyed
In the blink of an eye, it was all gone
Yet the second sun shone for what seemed like forever
What was once home, what was once a near limitless pool of resources was now a near limitless cloud of radiation
