Fake friends
In all shapes and forms.
Rich, poor, fat, slim, far and near.
In front of your face and behind your back
Kind, forgiving, and can tell you the sweetest things.
Even show up in the mirror sometimes
The sabotage never stops, and fools continue to fool themselves,
Thinking that their cover could never be blown
But someway, somehow,
They always manage to mismanage and appear in the light
Some perpetrators,
Some victims,
Pledging love and loyalty,
Till you start to realize something just ain't right
