Far away from the L train and Chicago's skyline
Far away from the towers of Manhattan's spine
In Italy's heart is a town of brown stone
Oh Siena, our Tuscany home
Not as famous as Venice or Florence for sure
But its pride in humanity honest and pure
Where ever we are and where ever we go
Siena's our Tuscany home
Some folks fret that they've missed
Places from bucket lists
As they nervously ramble and roam
But you'll find us dancin'
And softly romancin'
In Siena our Tuscany home
We drove on the byway called the Brunello Highway
Where pilgrims once traveled to Rome
Modern pilgrims are crazy for the grape Sangiovese
That we sipped, in Montalcino
But the magical place that we love the best
Is Palazzo Ravizza and her view to the west
We drank wine in the garden, picked out stars in the sky
"We could live here forever" we all said with a sigh
Some search the world over
To find four leaf clovers
Never stopping to smell the rose
But we go on dancin'
And softly romancin'
In Siena, our Tuscany home
Good times we have had
For a band of nomads
As we wined and dined in the sun
Yes we got the rare chance
Just like Butch and Sundance
To live the sweet life on the run
Far away from Nashville and her honky-tonk bars
Far away from the ring-ding of Frisco's street cars
In Italy's heart is a town of brown stone
Oh Siena, our Tuscany home
Oh Siena our Tuscany home
