I was born a reckless man
On a thursday in the southern land
Born to live then born to die
But not to love can you tell me why
And I live like a lonely man
With a minimalist amount of lost and founds
And a head that orbits for itself
And an ego that burns like a lit up shelf
And my mind she has no strength
She just gives up on the present tense
When all you do is sing and shout
Like a cigarette it just burns out
And my music it well it won't do
It just lifts me up when I want it to
See all my poetry's rant and rhyme
Just like a song needing mixer and lime
But I'm a man and I can hope
See when my emotion feels so broke
I can cry and scream and shout
I can let my lust go and let it out
But to read you girl instantly
Is just to play with electricity
You light your fire then it burns out
My lust is hope its not worked out
And I was born a reckless man
On a thursday in the southern land
Born to live then born to die
But not to love can you tell me why
