Fire in the underwood
Sparks settling down
My knees are old and burning
Sleep in with this sound
I've not enough to give
More than enough not to demand
As i plant my feet
Upon this sacred land
It's raining fire
On your consecrated past
While you were
Dancing for rain, dancing for rain
Holding on to the last
It's a wonder, seen through your eyes
They're just as wonderous as mine
And even yet they're wondering
About how to stop the time
So let it pass
This time there's nothing to be had
As you crawl back to
The monsters in your bed
It's raining fire
On your consecrated past
While you were
Dancing for rain, dancing for rain
Holding on to the last
But can you really let it
Let it steal your heart
Cause all these little moments
Are not too far apart
So you sat, done fighting
To zero from the top
And as the fire started biting
You could feel the drops
