Grace
Grace floats like clouds, falls like rain
Some think it rather insane, bird brained
Gracious winging whirling plain to plain
Oh but, who'll steal the dance we have danced
Glide like a cloud, take a chance: romance
Skimming "heaven's flowers" in a trance
Better birds than lonely worms or sprawling ferns here tied to land
Grace may come late, will be fickle faced; best to embrace while we can
Laughs soar like windblown balloons
Tears drop like rays from the moon, so we croon
While tragedy sits in a nearby room
Life dazzles, fear scuttles lives
Skies lift us up to nosedive, still we strive
Waltzing on the clouds we can contrive
Scudding wave-tunes, rutting festoons, rosing brume will strike up the band
Dance the cloudlight, drift the whole night; flight's in our lips and in our hands
Grace floats like clouds, falls like rain
