So we walked through the night, through the glass floor to find our way to the light
By the garage off in the distance we met you and I didn't know what to do

Wrapped in deep in these romantic situations in my dreams

And then your friends mother offered to drive us home
I just saw it as a chance to get you alone
But our friends sat in-between us cause your friend had taken a shine to mine
But on the drive home you slipped your foot across to mine and we locked eyes
As my friend dropped his best lines
