I arise from my slumber
A thousand voices coalesce inside my head
Harvesting their souls to alter my physical being
Yet, engorging myself has somehow left me empty
Once again I find myself longing for something I cannot obtain
My milk-white eyes blister as I emerge under the sun's gaze
The ultraviolet rays pierce through my skin
Burning me from within
I must recede back to the shadows
Bound to the darkness forever
Though I am bound to places left unseen
I stalk nonetheless through the veil of night
As it cascades over the lands
All that lies below becomes my domain
Feel now, the awakened frenzy
The countless possibilities, all these victims beneath me
I hunger voraciously for the tender taste of flesh
Teeth barred, eyes glazed, it's now time to feast
The sweetened stench of fear empowers the fetid beast that is still yet unseen
(Terror, suffering and death)
Terror, suffering and death forced upon the weak
Every night is savored but what has become of me?
Created by a thirst for power
Hindered by a thirst for blood
Driven by a need to feast
I cannot escape my unquenchable blood lust
I've fallen prey to the vices that birthed me anew
I contemplate release...
My still body erupts forward unto the moon-kissed dirt
Driven by newly programmed muscle memory
I rush forth reluctantly
What state of being is this?
