In my home it's warm and cozy
Flat out open's not for me
Without my shell I'll never travel
There's no place I'd rather be
My whole life I have been livin'
In the nutshell of my mind
Rain would pour some saddening tears
Or the sun would be way too kind
When the wind was blowin' sharply
A safe shelter I would build
But still I'd feel it stingin'
Through the gaps of my own guilt
Way down under nature's rooftop
Oh I travelled east and west
Took north and south both with me
Couldn't choose which I liked best
Now I'm left of all that's left
I'm at home in my own mind
I can climb any mountain
Nothin' left to leave behind
I am left of all that's left
I am all that you can see
I've no fear to swim the ocean
By myself...if need be...
Tried to be a master-builder
Of everyone else's home sweet home
All the while that my own shelter
Became some private pressure dome
Somehow I managed to escape
Swapped my mind over matter
Threw in the towel took off the hat
Once owned by some mad hatter
A capricorn climbin' mountains
An ocean crab in its own shell
I'm bit of both and now we look and laugh
At that cancer out of hell
A capricorn climbin' mountains
An ocean crab in its own shell
I'm bit of both and now we look and laugh
At that cancer out of hell
Now I'm left of all that's left
I'm at home in my own mind
I can climb any mountain
Nothin' left to leave behind
I am left of all that's left
I am all that you can see
I've no fear to swim the ocean
By myself... if need be...
